Tess Howieson's dance journey began in Perth, Australia, at the age of 4 at All Star Dance and Performance Centre, to national titles at Showcase National Dance Competition and Dance Quest WA. After graduating high school, she moved to Melbourne, completing her dance diploma and teaching certificates on scholarship at Jason Coleman's Minstry of Dance.
Following her graduation, Tess discovered a love for choreography that has taken her across the globe. She spent several summers in New York, crafting mesmerizing musicals for Stagedoor Manor's summer season and nurturing the talents of master dance students from diverse backgrounds. Her artistic journey this year led her to London, where she has been a lead creative for the British Theatre Academy, directing and choreographing premier musicals, showcasing her skills on an international stage.
Notably, Tess had the privilege of choreographing the opening season for Underscore Theatre Inc. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, marking another milestone in her flourishing career. Now back in Australia, Tess is eager to share her wealth of experiences and passion for dance, enriching the dance community nationwide.
